Well got the car running again today, installed another cam angle sensor, and boom it fired right up. It did that last time, so the real test will be tommorow, will it run again?
So Ryan and I take it for some rips, wash off the inch of dust then we go to the highway for a couple pulls. The antilag rules, sounds awesome (vids coming soon) I built about 9psi on the line, not too shabby. I could have upped the launch limiter a bit, it was a 5000 and I bogged it a bit, I can easliy get rubber into second gear. It goes as good as the RX7, so we figure high 13's.
Coming back into the city we smell burning trans fluid, uh oh, I pop my head out the window, sure enough leaking trans fluid. We stop and poull over sure enough its leaking pretty good, so we make it back to my place and it dumps the rest of the fluid out on my driveway. We couldnt see a hole in the tranny, its probably cracked, and the speedo doesnt work, so the front diff is probably screwed. Ill have to take a closer look at it tommorow.

Well its been a long stupid winter, but its finally getting nice out and im back at it again. Motor is almost completely assembled again, I have fixed various problems that plagued me last year (mosly gaskets, and stripped threads). SS clutch line and oil coolers lines are on the motor now, Lower intake mani, exhaust mani, turbo, 80% wired, injectors, etc are all installed. Front fenders and front bumper are off and I removed the headlight washer tank, and windsheild washer tank today. Still gotta remove the AC core from under the dash then thats it for weight reduction! haha.
Still waiting for my KOYO radiator to come in, and still have to install all my suspension stuff, brake pads, brake lines, gauges, fmic, gotta get the ecu reprogrammed, racing seats installed, harnesses mounted (end of the month) etc... Realistically I could see it running by the weeked. ( not driving until reprogram, but it might run)
All thats left on my list is a new windsheild, and a 4 point rollbar.
May 13th street legal was the intended goal of everything on, running good, and racing that weekend. We shall see if I reach that.

Last tuesday I took my car into work to get my SGI inspection performed. 8 things failed, not too bad I guess
1. Windsheild, fixed 2. Lower rad support was dented, fixed 3. Ebrake light didnt work, fixed 4. No shift pattern on shift knob, fixed 5. Interior lights dont come on when doors open, fixed
6. Horn doesnt work, the on off my 93 is dead too, fixed as soon a scrounge up a good one. 7. Ex mani cracked, waiting on my Evo III mani, might have to toss on a good 1G just for the time being. 8. PS rack is leaking, ugh, this will be a PITA to swap. I might buy one if it doesnt warm up soon, it'll be too cold to pull the one off the 93, assuming its good.
24 days to go, 4/8 things fixed.

Update on the RX-7. Was bored so I decided to swap the massive fucking steering wheel. The stock S4 T2 RX-7 steering wheel is 375mm . I raped my parts protege for its steering wheel. Its only 345mm, although still huge, but now alot easier to navigate around. hehe. I also got started ripping apart useless wires from the PDO, hes got shit everywhere! In the near future a battery relocation, build up the engine again, FMIC, new Radiator and other stuff will come together. Chances are the car won't get any faster this winter, but more reliable, and cleaner. Other than that, thats pretty much it.
